Hiring My First AI Agent

Agentic AI Chief of Staff for email and calendar intelligence, daily briefing, and workflow orchestration.

I built a functioning AI Chief of Staff prototype as step one in the next evolution of working with AI.

I wanted to move beyond using AI only as a prompt-based assistant. The goal was to create an agent that could integrate with my actual workflow, begin working on its own, and complete real tasks — starting with reviewing email and calendar inputs and generating a daily executive-style briefing.

This project reflects where I believe AI is headed: not just answering questions, but supporting work through structured, agentic workflows that can surface what matters, reduce noise, and improve follow-through.

For me, this project is about getting ahead of the curve in a practical way. It demonstrates how AI can become a working layer inside daily operations while still keeping human judgment, priorities, and final decisions in control.
